I'm just way too observant. It's when she says "Lux she loves you...whether or not she thinks that we should be together." You'll notice him swallow pretty hard, if you notice that, it's around that moment. Although now I can't unsee it and it makes me sadder every single time I watch so it might be better to just not look for it.

Yep...that hospital scene is for sure one of my favorite CB scenes now. Pretty much perfect.

Yep, the hospital scene is definitely one of my favorite scenes. The vulnerability between them, the "i lost everything...not just the bar, you", the "i could never hate you" and the non-answer. Such a beautiful scene.

Gah! Everytime I rewatch or even think about the hospital scene, I just fall harder and harder. I know this is more about Baze's character than CB, but I just LOVE when he says, "What I told you in the park. It was unfair, and selfish. And I don't want to be selfish anymore." I know he has a long way to go, but it just shows how completely Cate and Lux have transformed him already.

In the words of Abby in Family Therapized, "Ah! You're such a good guy you make my ovaries hurt!"

The hospital scene is definitely my favorite from the premiere as far as CB is concerned. Gosh, they're just so open and I'm really feeling the romantic tension that's there right now. The hug shared between Lux/Baze near the end is cute but qualifies more as a mini-family intimate moment shared between the three. It was sweet.

I found the parallel shared between Cate and Baze to be interesting as well. Both, it would appear, are having to deal with their 'livelihood' (job security) being pulled right out from underneath them (Cate being fired/Baze's bar being destroyed by the fire). I wonder if it's something that will bond them even further, seeing since they're dealing with such similar issues for the time being?!

Awesome, shar! I had never been on the couples board before, but I just checked it out. ANYTHING to support CB.

And I love the parallel between Cate and Baze's similar job situations, too. I definitely think they will support each other and bond even further over it.
