As a tried and true Glee geek (no matter what craziness goes down, I watch every episode), I was obviously beyond excited to get the chance to sit down with Lea Michele on Friday after she unveiled Valspar Hands for Habitat , a benefit for Habitat for Humanity that auctions off colorful celebrity handprints. We talked Glee, her secret talent, her weird White House souvenir, and more fun facts you’ve gotta know…

What inspired you to get involved with Valspar Hands for Habitat? Well, I’ve always been such a fan of Habitat for Humanity and all the amazing work that they do. When they approached me to make a handprint for auction a couple of months ago, I was so excited to do it. So then when they asked me to come here today and be a representative for all the other celebrities who have made these handprints, I was just really honored.

So, Season 4 Glee, Rachel is newly single, and she’s in New York… I think we kind of left it open of whether or not were they really breaking up? We know he’s giving her her freedom. She starts the season confused as to where they stand.

What can viewers expect to see? It’s going to be really exciting to see people in new locations. What her apartment in New York looks like, what her college roommate is like, what her dance studio looks like… all these new sets I think people are going to be excited to see. And to also see the new dynamic of the kids who are in high school—they have a lot to deal with this year. The first two scripts are so funny.

Are the New Directions going to have to find a new Rachel? The group that’s left there, they’re all sort of like, ‘Which one of us is going to be the lead of the New Directions?’

Your current obsession is: Game of Thrones

The TV shows you can’t stop watching: Game of Thrones. Only. I’m so obsessed with it, it’s disgusting. I can’t stop. I’ve been calling people who have read the books and saying “Tell me everything that happens.” I’m just so obsessed with it.

The movie you’re so obsessed with you know every word: Funny Girl.

The album you’re listening to nonstop: Maroon 5’s “Overexposed.”

Your go-to karaoke song: ”Alone” by Heart.

Your hidden secret talent: I think I’m a really good cook. Like Italian dishes, lasagna, baked ziti, eggplant parmesan, things like that.

Who did you learn to cook from? My family. I’m Italian.

Your craziest Hollywood moment so far: Probably meeting President Obama.

What was the experience like? Well, I like going to the bathroom in the White House and using the White House sealed toilet paper! It’s all kind of crazy. I stole some. I just have it somewhere rolled up, weirdly.

The item in your closet that you’re most obsessed with: I really love my boyfriend jeans. They’re so ripped, the holes are insane.

Your favorite person to follow on Twitter is: I really love following Chris Colfer because sometimes he says the funniest *****. It’s so hilarious. I really love following him.

Next time you have time to yourself, you’re going to: Get a massage.

Your first celebrity crush was: Jonathan Taylor Thomas!

The most random thing you keep on you at all times is: Probably my agenda book, which is like the size of this table.

The worst audition that you’ve ever had was: When I… I don’t know. I’m pretty OK in that department, I think.
