Why does everyone think New Yorkers are Broadway bound by default? It's not one of my interests like at all.

I don't think that! But I'm completely jealous! It's totally my DREAM to go holiday in New York and spend all my savings on Broadway shows!! Musical theatre / dance - it's my life!

Aww the grass is always greener. I feel like tourists always enjoy NYC more than I do, it's a shame really.

I think that's normal. The tourists that come to NZ have probably seen more of it than I have.

Haha - so true for most people though! But I love my city / country! Just cannot wait to hit BROADWAY!!! Just the amount of shows running is AMAZING! We get VERY few and they last a couple of months TOPS. Only exceptions have been Billy Elliot and Wicked!!

Woo! I've been to the US - but I was 14 or 15 and only went to LA and Las Vegas - and let's face it - gotta be 21 to get the REAL idea of Vegas!! haha! Some of the 18 year olds were so excited, until they realised - crap! The legal age in US is 21!!! HAHA!
