February 12 See the inner child in everyone. Sometimes when I'm getting frustrated or annoyed with someone, I remember that they were once a child. I close my eyes and I visualize how they must have been when they were little and when I reopen my eyes, all I can feel for that person is love and compassion. Whatever happened to them to make them act the way they are no longer matters; it's their innocence that prevails, and I have no choice but to be humbled in their presence. Goal: See the potential for good in everyone and have compassion for your foes. Remember that you never know what happens behind closed doors. Therefore, have mercy on their actions. It's likely that they're in pain themselves. I envy this ability in Demi. when I see someone struggling, or the road their life has led them, that's when I picture them as a child, especially if it's someone I know. and it saddens me. I often think of myself as a child. I was outgoing and precocious and cute and I wonder what happened to that little girl that turned her into someone like me. on a separate note, I typed that entire thing without looking at my hands so I wouldn't lose my place in the book, and I only made one typo, so I'm just gonna silently celebrate my mad typing skills, k? __________________

February 19 Mistakes are nothing more than opportunities to learn, grown, and better our future. It's so easy to beat ourselves up for mistakes we've made in the past. Mistakes are part of being human and they are part of being alive. Our mistakes are blessings and opportunities to keep learning and expanding. But even when you learn from your mistakes don't expect to never make another. You will and that's okay. Goal: Keep growing and embrace each challenge as a chance to learn something new and you will be amazed by how easy it is to move on. __________________

February 25 No matter what you have been through in life, good or bad, don't take it for granted. There are lessons in every moment of our lives. Each of us leads unique lives with experiences that nobody else will ever completely understand. Your story holds so many valuable lessons that can help inspire, teach, and motivate someone else should you choose to share it. In treatment, I head so many different stories. Just by listening, I learned so man different things. I'm so thankful I found the courage to share my story and talk about what I've been through. Not only has it helped me, but it's helped give perspective and strength to so many other people. I encourage you to do the same. Goal: Share your story with someone. You never know how one sentence of your life story could inspire someone to rewrite their own. __________________

it's hard to do that and I sort of think that if you can't find the right words then its not the right time to share
 when the time is right, the words will come to you__________________
