I find Americans all sound the same but obviously there's different twangs that you pick up, like a NY accent compared to a Texan accent is different, same here. London is your typical cockney accent and then up north you have different accents

I know the difference between English, Scottish, Irish etc, but not the dialects of those. It's so hard!

Americans sound drastically different between the North and South and even across the state of Massachusetts where I live. I guess people expect everyone to have a Boston accent. Not true.
