They had some of the funniest scenes together.

Just watched the fourth episode and it was funny how Ross pushed Joey down the hallway while mocking him. He had really had enough of him that night.

Yeah he does.

I know that Chandler/Joey are the fan favorite bromance on this show but I ended up loving these two more later on in the series. The stuff with Rachel really brought them together. An early moment that I like is from the pilot when Joey encourages Ross to "grab a spoon". And in the blackout episode where Ross is trying to ask out Rachel and Joey says, "it's never going to happen".

Yeah pitch black, such quietness then all of a sudden Joey tells him it's never going to happen and that he's "mayor of the zone"

Yeah they did become closer in the later seasons but I felt they had a strong bond anyway. I just would have loved to have had more scenes with just these two together like the rest of them. We can't have everything though

They are so underrated! Love the fact that Joey respects Ross that's why he was trying to hide his feelings for Rachel. Aww Joey

You're right Vicki, they were already close prior to that. I just watched the first Thanksgiving episode and I like how they do this little happy move with their hands when Monica said they could both have the potatoes of their choice. They reminded me of little kids there. Like, "yes, mom is so cool!"

Talking about Thanksgiving episodes also makes me think about the one from S6 when Ross and Joey both wanted to left the dinner with their friends early so they could go to the party with Janine's ladies friends
