S3 is one of my favourite seasons I love Chandler in S2, 3 & 4 the most I think!

I wish they would do a marathon here of Friends episodes, we have three episodes a day atm and they are shown about 3 times that day.

I agree Court! I think that's when he was his funniest, he was still funny in the later seasons too but I definitely preferred him in the earlier seasons

it's interesting b/c lot of people think he was less funny since he got with monica, i mean that he was still funny but somehow not that hilarious when he was with her, i've never been careful about that, to me, he was always the funniest

Yeah I think it's because he settled down a lot with Monica and she made him more mature, which is great! And he was still funny but just not as funny as the earlier seasons IMO.

I really like that Monica and Chandler got together and stayed a couple, it's a refreshing change they didn't try and break them up like say Ross and Rachel.

Yeah I think so too. I think he is the funniest in Season 2 and 4.

And it proved that you could keep a couple interesting without cheating or breaking up etc.

I agree, the same thing happened on Gilmore Girls as well, the lead couple (Luke&Lorelai) broke up for the final season and just like R&R got back together right at the end of the last ep. Meanwhile Sookie (here best friend) stayed with her husband the whole series after getting married at the end of S2. It does work just like Chandler and Monica found each other and made it work and they were both better for it.

agree with all you said, i know R&R are often represents as THE couple of Friends but for me it's mondler, i mean when you really think about, they were only a couple for what ? like a year (2nd half of s2/1st half of s3), they spent more time seperated than together
whereas mondler have been together for 5 YEARS, we saw the friends/lovers transition, we saw them fight and make up and try to work things out, they got married, they actually faced problems but deal with TOGETHER

Yes, R&R were a couple for about a year and a short period at the start of S4, then never officially again until the final.

I like when they have a couple that work things out, it gives you hope.

I know it's not likely with Matthew and Courteney having shows on different networks but I'd love for Matt to do a guest spot on Cougar town, maybe as someone looking for house to buy?

Yeah steady couples are really sweet (Marshall/Lily on HIMYM-my 2nd fave couple ever ) and I like back and forth a lot, too, but the steady ones help people keep believing in stress-angst free relationships.
