Hey, guys!

New to the FRIENDS thread, a few months old to FanForum in general.

I've been a fan of FRIENDS since I was 11. I'm thirty, now, and happy to finally get all the jokes.

I was searching for this Ross/Rachel thread, because I'm watching The One With the Jellyfish and I had some thoughts.

I’ve been thinking about how Ross fell asleep reading the eighteen pages. I mean, I get that it was 5:30 AM and she wanted the answer then, and there. That’s the spoiled part of Rachel, which is like all of Rachel. But, on the other hand, I think about how she poured her heart out to him, and all he really cared about was that IT SO DOES NOT. I mean, granted, she wanted him to take full responsibility for their breakup. And even though he slept with someone mere hours after they broke up, it still is hurtful, but at the same time, it’s not all Ross’ fault. They were both so toxic.

Anyway, I was just thinking like, if the timing had been better, I would be hurt if my boyfriend was kind of cavalier about all the feelings I put down on paper. It's kind of hurtful. It's like telling a woman she's "too much".
