I became a shipper in the episode TOW the Birth. I just loved how Chandler cared so much about Monica, and knew she wanted to be a mom, that he offered to have a baby with her someday (even though he was commitment phobic). That's when I saw a spark between them and 1st thought they would make a cute couple.
Then everytime I saw them sit close together or have any storylines together, it just made me ship them more.

I became a Chandler/Monica shipper, because, how could you not love them? :lol:

But really, they have amazing chemistry. Even before they got together, they were closer than the other Friends. And you can tell they really love each other, and they work through their problems (i.e fertlity). That's why I love them.

I started shipping them during the beginning of season 5. They were just so adorable together and it was also one of the funniest storylines on the show.

I also love it that they work through their problems and never broke up.

I started shipping them from the time they were in London and slept together... although I did notice little hints even in the previous seasons indicating they might get together. :D

I started shipping them around TOA The Beach when he kept pestering her about being her boyfriend and then of course it grew after they slept together in London because they were just so cute :love:

This could have been written by me. I didn't really start shipping them until TOW The Birth, but I saw that the show was really focused on Ross and Rachel. I didn't think that the producers would ever put two couples together out of the six friends, so I enjoyed the closeness that Monica and Chandler shared.

When they went to the beach, I got my hopes up. But then when they had that cute conversation over cards, I figured that was it. I'm glad I was very wrong ;)

OMG! Me Too! I was so excited so see them even considering the possiblity. Then as the season went by and I saw nothing come of it I was like "oh well I'll always have that episdoe" But now we know it was just the writers foreshadowing what was ment to be :D

Now, since we're talking about that episode, there's been a theory that Chandler had a crush on Monica before they slept together in London. Do you think that's true? Do you think that's why he was volunteering to be her boyfriend? That's why he agreed to sleep with her in London? Or was he just being a good friend?

I definitely think that Chandler had a crush on Monica by the time The One At the Beach rolled around, maybe even before that. I saw sparks between them back in Season 1 when Chandler offered to make a baby with Monica should they both be single at 40.
