Age: 22 Location: WA Since what year have you been watching? 2014, although my sister has been a fan for a long time, so I saw a few episodes before that. Do you own any of the DVDs? The entire series. What’s your favorite couple? Chandler and Monica for sure. I am a big fan of Ross, but sometimes I find the Ross/Rachel relationship to be really drawn out and pointless. I did enjoy them when they actually got along, before the big fight in season 3. I think Rachel really overreacted about him sleeping with the copy girl. He only did it because on the phone he could tell she had Mark over, and he thought she was sleeping with him. Favorite character? Chandler is my overall favorite, but my favorite of the girls is Monica. Least favorite character? Of the 6 I would say Phoebe, because I don't always enjoy her rude sort of sense of humor. I do find her funny at times, though. Favorite scene? TOW Chandler In A Box, when Chandler doesn't respond to Kathy in order to show Joey how much his friendship means to him, Kathy leaves, and Joey feels guilty and says, "Open the box" and runs over to tell Chandler to get out of there, and then they hug it out. Favorite season? Seasons 5 and 9. 5 because there were just so many really funny episodes, and Monica and Chandler keeping their relationship a secret was fun. And season 9 because it also had a lot of really funny episodes. I hated Mike and Phoebe (she should've married David), but I loved Charlie with Joey and Ross. What made you a Friends fan? I just really loved the whole idea of six friends hanging out together, and I loved the whole concept of it being a comedy but with a lot of really emotional scenes. Up until I started watching Friends I always watched Seinfeld, and then I realized that Friends is the much better show. On Friends they're not afraid to hug each other (on Seinfeld they have a no hugging rule, which is really stupid), and I like the idea that there are three guys and three girls, unlike with Seinfeld where the girl is supposed to be one of the guys. Also, the Friends theme song is awesome. And I realized that I couldn't believe I hadn't started watching this show sooner, because it's so classic and funny. |
