Vampire Diaries Vs True Blood. im curious what you people think? Which one is better and why?
The Vampire Diaries, well my mom won't let me watch/read True Blood because they show scenes that I'm not allowed to see because I'm just 14 but I have seen promos and they look good but when I read VD I couldn't stop, when I got the books last year I had all out so far and I read each book after each book until I was finished and then I started to look things up for it.

Well, i'm totally different then you young ladies here, the kind of vampire books that i read are Silhouette Nocturne & Nocturne Bites Series. Right now, i'm reading 'Holiday With A Vampire III', they are three different stories in one book. I read one story already and loved it, can't wait too read the other two. 'So That's My Book Reading!....................' d.v.

Um... I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this, but I'm wanting to read another Vampire book, or series, but I'm hard to please. There are certain criteria I have, but I can't seem to find anything with it.

- The main female must not be a Bella Swan type.
- The main male must not be an Edward Cullen type.
- The third main character must not be a friend pining type
- It has to be dark, with violence, lust, mystery, adventure etc.
- The darker and lustier, the better.
- A single novel is fine, but sequels are also fine.
- Other supernatural elements are awesome.
- The main Vamp would be awesome if he (or she, doesn't matter) was dangerous; not Edward Cullen dangerous 'I could kill you but I don't want to', but dangerous, as 'I could kill you and if I do or dont you wont know until it's too late' kinda thing... get?
- Gotta have romance. I'm huge on my ships. (Tho as the case has been with Twilight , VD (and HP) the main pairings just happen to be my least favourite.)

Anyone know of anything that fits this?

Danity Vampyro, your's sound like something I'd be interested in...

Dingbat, I'm totally in agreement with you. I've read em all: Twilight, TVD, Vampire Academy; there are more that have slipped my mind at the moment, but the very first vampire book I've ever read was Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause many years ago.

But I wanna read something kinda different.

I'm not reading any vampire books at the moment, but I'd really like to. I used to read supernatural novels all the time and vampires are my faves.

here is a thread where would be the place to ask
http://www.fanforum.com/f328/vampire...mend-62911819/

BUT, i'll try to answer your question here..
if you haven't read Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead, i would suggest that... it is pretty much has all your criteria.

Do you prefer YA or Adult books?

Thanks for that Jen! I'm gonna check it out, too. :gone:
