So they interacted in the last episode but it was kind of minimal. Here's hoping they get to talk a little more in the next episode.

I didn't expect this scene! the episode description said something about Damon/Stefan going to Tyler for help. but that was not the case. Elena told Tyler to get Stefan. Tyler then called Damon? but Darkalaric told Damon/Stefan about Elena. so they already knew.

I kind of wish they had a scene after, like a thank you or something. However Elena was too busy bleeding in the brain so maybe just like next season - give them scenes.

that's why i like Tyler so much. he is the only one who never put her on a pedestal. everyone else puts Elena first. Damon, Stefan, Matt, Jeremy, Klaus, Alaric. I just like the fact that those two could really just be friends.

I agree. Tyler sees her like a normal girl. That's why I think he could be a great friend for her.

I think they'll keep it that way, Elena already has the eye of many guys and Tyler doesn't seem to see her that way. I like that they can just be friends. I hope she's more understanding of him next season though - then again I could say that for a few characters.
