It's crazy how Lily and Isobel are similar, they prefer other people to their own children Guess it'd be interesting to see Damon struggling between his mother and the memory of Elena, but if Lily will be involved in such huge event, he'll never forgive her, he'll kill her for sure

The DE scenes are perfect, as usual.

Just like Elena, I actually wanted Damon to open up a bit about what he sees as his future with Elena when they were playing the "what if" game.He's always been the mysterious type who doesn't like talking about the future, especially if it concerns Elena. It scares the hell out of him.

I loved the last scene, too. His taking the leap and promising that they'd take the cure together. That melted my heart. The things he will do for Elena. Such a powerful, powerful DE scene.

I agree, we rarely get his POV, always good when we get the chances especially on an important matter like this Elena was finally sure of what she wants for her future and it scared him but he realized he wants the same, wants her, whatever is their nature, that is the importante

He grew so much as a character and this scene proved it
