We had Elena implicitly trusting Damon when she has no good reason to, throwing herself in front of a stake to keep Damon from hurting Caroline, and then, as I said before LEAPING OVER FLAMES to save him from Bonnie. This, plus AMAZING Caroline scenes, awesome Caroline/Stefan interaction, and a great Jeremy/Damon scene.

As I read what you wrote it seems like to me (i just realized this) that the only one who can actually hurt Damon IS elena (and keeping katherine out of the picture or coarse). What I mean by that is she donest like it when other people hurt him, only her. almost like "he's her and no one elses."

OH, if you didn't see, I ALSO FOUND THE SCREEN-CAPS TO THE NEW EPISODE 2x02. It took a bit but I found them. Let me know if you want me to pm yea the link. They are an okay an quality. But I do care right now I found them for now until a better quality comes.

Kind of! I joined the list early on because I KNEW I would ship them, but I didn't like the first few episodes and I was in Europe for part of the season. So I knew for a while I would ship them but finally became obsessed starting this season.

I converted someone to TVD tonight! lol we watched it when it aired again later, and she goes "that was good!" Now time to convert her into a DE shipper.

i def. got my sister to like them.

she was a huge SE fan in season 1, and then she started loving damon in season 2. and in the premiere when elena told damon she loved stefan she was PISSED. She was like "she should be with damon!" it was cute.

Oh that happened with my cousin (well he was the one who introduced TVD to me) but I helped him see the light lolz

Hi everyone!

I just watched the episode. Even though there were very limited DE interactions, i think it was still a good episode. I mean at the very least, Elena could have let Bonnie kill Damon,
