I am SO optimistic about this season, I cannot even tell you. For the first half of the season, I might not try to lower my expectations, because we KNOW that Damon and Elena are going to grow closer and it will be flawless and lovely and wonderful and all of those good and happy adjectives. I CANNOT WAIT.

This season is going to be CRAZY in here. Possibly crazier than last year, because there were so many episodes where we didn't get scenes. For the first half of the season, at least, we're guaranteed scenes in every episode.
