I just wanted to pop on and say that I still believe he would trade anything and almost anyone (minus baby Hope) to save her life if she were in trouble.
 Out of all the times that she's been tortured I hated that one the most x __________________

I would like to see at least an acknowledgement that he knows, if Liz really does die. Maybe he could send her flowers or something? Idk, I'm not really a fan of this storyline being used to prop ships though, the best option to me would be Bonnie and Elena being there for her.
