I see what you mean and yes, she's still trying to hold on to her humanity as long as she can b/c I think she's afraid that if she doesn't, her friends will turn their backs on her and she'll end up all alone even before she's forced to leave town. That why she gets involved in trivial activities, like prank night, b/c she thinks this is the only Caroline her friends will accept. I'm sure she'll eventually change, when her friends, her last connection to humanity, will be gone and whether Klaus will be there with her when that happens we have yet to see. I personally hope so.

I would love a kiss in the rain too. For some it may seem cheesy, but for me it's romantic.

I want their kiss to be tender, yet passionate. Do you guys remember the Limp Bizkit vid with Halle Berry for Behind blue eyes, when they kiss? That's ****ing hot! I want that for them. Or that kiss from Lost between that curly brunette girl and that guy with long hair...I don't know their names, I never watched Lost, I just saw it on yt once and it said first kiss. (Sorry if I offend any shippers here, I am merely pointing out a scenario for our couple..) I don't want a surprise kiss and it would be cute if Caroline will be the one initiating the kiss b/c if Klaus is the one kissing her first I think it would be a rougher kiss, which I wouldn't mind either...not at all!

I agree with most of what you said However I don't think Caroline does those things for her friends. She enjoys them, her friends part take more for her than anyone. Even though they had a 'wake' for her, she's still Miss Mystic Falls, she still wants to go to dances and part take in those things.

Oh I didn't mean she does those things only for her friends. Yes, she enjoys them very much b/c this is Caroline, she wants to think that every situation, no matter how minor and unimportant it is, it can still be fun and make people happy, but I think subconsciously, she thinks that if she were to give up on those normal human activities, she'll be in a way treated like an outsider by her 2 best friends and mother. I'm pretty sure Bonnie's first reaction to her being a vampire and her mother's rejection are still very present in Caroline's mind. So she tries to keep them close by acting like them, like a human, for as long as she can before they move on and leave her behind, b/c it will happen eventually. I just hope that if and when she decides MF is not a place for her anymore, Klaus will join her and they'll start exploring the world together.

I agree with you Addiction, I don't think she does it for her friends either. Caroline knows she is gonna live for a very long time. She wants to make the most of what she has now. Enjoy the silly high school things. She's still 17 her interests haven't changed.

I watched the video, and OMG, WOW! I defiantly see that happening--even better in the rain

I just watched the Kate and Sawyer first kiss scene, and I could also see this happening as a sort of persuasion type of deal. Sawyer had something Kate needed and his price was a kiss. It was hot, and you could tell something was there. Then he revealed he really didn't have what she needed, and she punches him. I don't want the same scenerio, but it would make good tv.
