I was thinking about Stefan's Ripper nature, was it genetic? Did he take it from his mom?
Kai was talking about how the Gemini coven considered Mama Salvatore a threat and created a prison world just for her but they never considered doing the same thing for Stefan. I found that strange since he was quite famous for leaving a trail of bodies behind...

I was wondering the same

I guess they could follow that path, knowing the writers, and make it like something is wrong in the Salvatore's genes via mama so every now and then, if one turns into a vampire, he/she becomes a Ripper

But IDK, sounds a bit creative to me, they could also just say, as usual, that some vampires just can't resist
