I didn't enjoy this one as much as the premiere. It felt a tad bit filler-y to me, which isn't good because its only the 2nd episode lol. I mean, the introduction of the dragon thing was kinda cool, and going after Landon made sense but everyone else doing the dumb football game felt a bit lame to me. It wasnt that exciting. I think the twins should have sneaked off after them instead and been involved in the woods stuff too.

I actually think that Raff and Hope have some nice chemistry. When she touched his face, they totally had a moment there, it was kinda hot.

I love Hope and I LOVE the Alaric and Hope relationship a lot. The actress looks so much older, she really grew up since the Originals. Him protecting her from the dragon was cute. And when he lectured her about the black magic. But i wish they would stop talking about her "evil" father. I know Klaus had some dark moments but they are kind of writing it as if that was all he was.

Lizzie still drives me insane, I just cannot warm up to that actress/character.

I do like the other teacher though, he reminds me a bit of the other guy that Alaric was working with in tvd season 8. I also really like Josie's ex, she's feisty.

Also where the hell is Caroline and why haven't they explained her absence?

Amen to Caroline, they need to bring her up!

I loved this episode though, this show is just so fun! I love how they do fighting scenes, it's a nice mix between dark and funny.

I did enjoy the match way more than I thought I would because it gave me Hogwarts feels and I love seeing these kids kick ass.

The dragon lady was interesting!

I agree! I don't know if it was on purpose or if Hope just has chemistry with everyone

But I'm here for it.

Lizzy reminds me of early TVD!Caroline. I didn't like Caroline at first and she became my favorite TVD character so if Lizzie evolves the same way I'll be really happy.

Gotta say Alaric's pretty good on this show. I liked the "Don't play the Dad card!" and the tension between Alaric wanting to protect the kids by telling them not to do black magic and yet also kind of needing their powers too.

That said, it shows that Hope is basically an orphan as far as her Mikaelson relatives are concerned. Makes the end of TO even more dumb that they would leave her on purpose. I know the actors don't want to be a part, and it must be very hard to write people out, though.

Sadly I was bored by the flag football and I'm not crazy about the monster of the week format unless it's Supernatural.

Oh btw, the other teacher IS Alaric's assistant from TVD, which is a nice touch.
