I have to say I am getting really tired of their storyline. They're perfect whenever they are together but it's like the showrunners can't freaking resist to come up with the most bizarre contrivances to keep them apart.

It's easier for me to ship something like Bruce and Selina because all their problems are natural to them. They are all caused by the fact that they are different and they don't live by the same rules. There is literally no reason whatsoever why Stefan and Caroline couldn't make it "work" other than bizarre psycho ex-girlfriends casting no-touching magic spells on them and crap like that.

This is TVD. They've being doing some pretty awful storylines since season 3. At this point I'm just here for the cute shippy moments.

^ Yeah I agree, it is like TVD writers to throw ridiculous contrivances to keep couples apart. Look at Delena. When they had problems it was because of some weird events like Damon dying but not really dying and Elena losing her good memories of him, or the doppelganger problem they had in S5, etc. Typical soap opera moves.

The best thing that writers could do with SC is to actually keep them together as couple, fighting together every monster that is threatening their lives. And for coupley problems, what I would like to see is, for example, them questioning how they see their vampire life together. What if one of them wants to eventually became human and the other doesn't? What about having babies, careers? Or maybe make them argue because of Damon? He raped Caroline after all, wouldn't she at least be slightly irked with dating someone who's that close to her rapist? If that was a real life, wouldn't everyone expect it to be a big problem for the couple to face?

I agree with you, guys, but I love them so much that I'm with them until the end. TVD writers really annoy me with this. They are throwing a lot of obstacles without even let SC get happy and together for a while :~~

and I still don't understand the whole point of this Valerie/Stefan storyline There are SO many ways to write angst storylines and envolving a third person it's my least favorite. 7x03 was really a mess for me! It looked like they were writing a Valerie/Stefan/Caroline triangle, even knowing that's not the case, but they tried really hard selling SV, I think to people don't hate Valerie, but it felt OCC.

Anyways...Waiting for tonight, I hope it's a better one. 7x02 and 7x03 was hard for me
