I want this too. As what RedRidingLola has said I'd like Stefan to finally embrace his vampirism and in a way be at peace with it. Caroline's presence in his life I think is/will be a huge factor in this if it happens. Like seeing as how she thrived and adapted well as a vampire will further make him realize being a vampire is not a bad thing after all.

I hope so too. Plus, I think Stefan and Caroline going together through no humanity stuff might help him to eventually stop blaming himself with everything bad that happens on the show. Caroline probably will take all she did as no humanity vampire very badly and she'll blame herself etc... and Stefan could actually understand that sometimes circumstances forces good people to do something shady and they shouldn't blame themselves for everything. When he sees that with Caroline, he could see that with himself too, and finally forgive himself.

I was rewatching 6x13 and now I'm wondering...this scene is a RipperSteroline foreshadowing? Or no...writers aren't that smart, right?

Yeah, I am actually damn sure that one is foreshadowing. The scene struck me as odd and slightly creepy even when it first aired, to be honest.

If we're playing with the thought it could mean that there will be a real victim to this chaos and this will be of Caroline's doing, with her trying to sew the head back on in guilt.

The writers may even view Stefan as being the victim.
