Well so far the interviews I've seen seem to be very positive for them and the only possible obstacle would be the demon kid so I think y'all should be fairly safe .

I hope they don't make hope into an obstacle. I'm pretty sure depending on what she's seen and heard while being there with Hayley that she knows somehow that Elijah makes her mom happy and that all she'd want is her mom to be happy...especially if she's as smart and strong of a seven year old as they're making it seem she is. There's no reason to make her an obstacle.

Making Hope an obstacle would be so cliche, so i'm expecting it.

That'd be stupid. Most aren't too big on hope to begin with. Making her an obstacle for Haylijah would only make even more people not care for her. But then again, if this is the last season the.pn it's safe to say the writers probably don't care too much about making characters likeable.

That ship sailed long ago on people caring about the demon kid. You either don't care or hate her imo.

I've just heard some conflicting rumors about the kid and how she will be similar to Hayley, but also have Klaus' darkness and could possibly not be happy with haylijah, but I don't know how factual those rumors are.

Those best just be rumors. I would be super pissed off if I wasted four years of my life watching this show for the only reason I even watched it in the first place to not be endgame. You don't spend so much time building up them ending up together to not let it happen. Or at least you shouldn't.

Whispers on tumblr. I don't think it's anything substantial and I don't see any other endgame except haylijah so I wouldn't be worried, but it would be like these writers to have the demon kid cause tension for haylijah.

I think it came from Narducci saying how Hayley and Hope had bonded and were extremely close and maybe spiraled from there.

I would think that if hope really is like her mother that she'd want to see her happy. Not to mention, im sure Hayley raised her well enough so far in an environment where Hope realizes there's more to worry about than who her mother loves. But then again these specific writers love their over the top drama so....I'm just gonna cross my fingers and hope for the best.

I don't think I follow any shippers that would benefit from haylijah trouble, but I suppose it is probably shipper bias or something.

It does sound like something the writers would initially do to stir the pot. I mean this little demon kid had Hayley to herself for years and suddenly she would have to share her with Elijah so I could see that being a bit of drama until she's reassured that haylijah together doesn't take anything away from Hayley and Hope's relationship.
