Yeah, it was!! I watched that scene a million times.

I read Queen of the Damned first, and I only saw a bit of Claudia through Jesse. Seriously, Claudia freaked me out. Then I bought the first four books in a promotion and read Interview with the Vampire. I LOVED Claudia to pieces and actually cried when she died. Especially with the way Louis ended his re-telling of his past, like he had nothing left to live for. I loved Armand at first but I felt like I could never forgive him for what he did to Claudia. And Lestat too...I feel like he's also to blame for what happened. Ahh, I don't know..

I've been way too depressed to read the second and fourth books yet, because Claudia's not there. That's how much I loved her.

Okay, sorry for the rant, but I never got to discuss IwtV with anyone so I just felt the need to let it all out. Haha

Looking forward to DE. Slow buildup sounds good! It makes me feel like when we get DE, it'll be awesome, with everything 'believable' as Plec said, because she's right. Right now, DE can't happen. Not yet.

Yea, it would see random for DE to happen now but we have loads of time to build-up and since the show is doing so well, there's no doubt in my mind it will get a second season.

Me neither! I loved Claudia and her relationship with Louis, I thought that their love story was one of the most prominent and emotional of "Interview with the Vampire".

D/E can't happen yet, and I don't expect them to. I want a fantastic story, I want beautiful build-up. I'm willing to wait for the first signs of a blossoming romance until Season 2. I know it will be worth it, in the end.

The thing with build-up evolving around two great characters like D/E is it's just seeing that connection, that attraction to each other, and analyzing the little things that they do for each other. You love them and you know they will end up together you just don't know when. And that is what is so great about the journey.
