There were 5 siblings originally - Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, Kol and Finn.

Kol and Finn were killed on TVD.
Esther was their mom who was a witch - also dead- killed by Klaus, comes back, killed again, etc.

Mikael was their father ( not biologically to Klaus) and was some super juiced up vampire who only feed from vampires and hated Klaus and hunted him for most of Klaus life before Klaus killed him in rather anti-climatic fashion in 5 seconds on TVD. Okay, maybe like a minute but for as bad a** as Mikael was supposed to be his quick death was a huge letdown

I'm so glad that MF was mentioned.

Everyone is praising Rebekah for what she said to Elijah, and that's fine because I agree with it, but I also want to praise Elijah for what he said to Rebekah. She has got to let go of all this anger towards Klaus, and her revenge plot is going to get her nowhere.

What is up with Klaus' face when Cami offers herself to Marcel? Is he jealous? Pleaseeee let's not go down that road.

And despite everyone else's opinion, I do like Hayley and Elijah. I think they're sweet together. I think Elijah has always had a softer side when it comes to the women in his life, and I think we're finally getting to see that... I'm sure if it came down to it, though, Elijah could still turn into the bada** that he was in TVD. However, now that Celeste is back, I wonder how that will all work out... because she's one of the two that he really loved.

I want Davina back, but I am interested to see where this storyline with the other witches goes.

I know, I had the feeling that they would when she first came on... but I don't feel any chemistry between the two, at all. I'm probably also just really biased, because I don't feel like there's anyone else for Klaus aside from Caroline, though.

Vervain makes vampires weak and a lot of vervain can knock you out. I just saw someone else ask about the Cami and the vervain. You don't have to drink vervain. It's possible that she had some on her like in a piece of jewellery.

Regarding killing an original. An original can only be killed with a stake made out of the white oak tree which was burned down. All the stakes were destroyed. There was one left but I can't remember what happened to it. Also if an Original dies then all the vampires turned by that Original and the vampires turned by those vampires will die. So if Klaus dies Marcel and all the vampires turned by Marcel will die since Marcel was turned by Klaus. That's why they didn't kill Klaus when he was on The Vampire Diaries because everyone would have died.

I don't think it's your bias talking, I personally don't ship Klaus/Caroline and I still find his chemistry with Camille really flat There's just not much there when they interact IMO.

yep... no idea what happened to that stake either. i seem to remember Esther used magic to make the stake itself indestructible or something like that.

Thanks, Nikki Heat made the icon and I just had to have it. It's my favorite OTP currently and I don't see that changing.

Sigh, Cami can be a hit or miss. Sometimes she's the most blah character ever, and than others she hits it right out of the park. But her need to stand up to Klaus? Talk to him like she has the upper hand? She doesn't know vampires enough, or Klaus most of all, but these guys are monsters.

The only reason why she's still alive is because he allows it. So it makes me cringe.

That being said, shipping them together is also a hit or miss for me. I think they could actually be better friends than anything more. And not because of Caroline, because I don't like any of that.

Elijah really is a broken record sometimes. I know he feels guilty for what happened to his brother, and he's trying to bring everyone together. But that's his outlook, he can't expect Rebekah to agree.

That being said, I think it would be healthy for Rebekah and Klaus to take some time apart. Their relationship is probably the most complex on TO or TVD, ranging from playful siblings, jealous siblings, almost incestuous siblings, to almost incestuous siblings with a side of battered wife.

They need to step back and ask why all of this is going on?

The last time I saw the stake was when Elena wanted to stake Rebekah on the island when they went to find the cure.

That's what I don't understand about her... who does she think she is talking to any vampire that way, let alone one of the original vampires? Does she not realize what he could do to her, or does she just not care?

I think it was left there. The stake was dropped, storyline wise, because Klaus/Rebekah/Elijah were too popular to kill off and the writers were working on a spin off.

Even on TO the stake isn't brought up, because as they keep pointing out Originals can't be killed. Kol and Finn aren't even brought up, despite Kol being in the first ep.

I completely agree, I don't think she has chemistry per say with Marcel, but I kinda see maybe something in that pair ... I could bare it? since the first episodes, actually.

Just like Elijah/Sophie I would have been ok with that combo too.
