Well everytime i wore either a LP icon or a BL one, one of the fanbases said some really bad things to me, it made me feel scared to wear any icon at all about OTH and i fear that for this too. they constantly ridiculed me for liking both

The fighting in a fandom really is childish. Watching a show is supposed to be entertaining, not headache-inducing.

If only Kat didn't ruin the moment in 2x01, we would've gotten a really hot sex scene.

But why did she tell Damon in 2x01 she never loved him and then change her tune in 2x22?

ikr? but imho i am glad he stopped, i don't want Damon to just give into her as if nothing has happened, i want it to be built up to that

Aw! Well hopefully none of that happens here. Which it definitely won't in the DK thread!

The OTH fanbase is the worst out of every fanbase I've ever encountered lol.

I always wonder why she denied her love for Damon. She said she loved him in 2.22, and then KW even just said in an interview that Damon was one of her great loves. So why hide from that?

I definitely see Katherine as a person who likes to have power in the relationship. Maybe by not telling Damon what he wants to hear, she can easily have control? Or she just doesn;t like being sappy / admiting what her heart feels? IDK.

With the first, then why tell Stefan that she did love him? I just think that with her love for Stefan, it's not deep enough that she has to run or hide from it. She still has control of it.

& With the second, I do like to think that's the case. My DK shipper heart hopes that reasoning goes even deeper. And I hope someone calls her on that in S3! Ergh, I know it'll never happen, but still LOL.

I agree that I think Katherine likes to have the power in the relationship, but if she didn't want to admit her feelings because she wants power, why did she tell Stefan she loved him?

B/c Stefan is different from Damon? IDK, really. Katherine knows (or thought) Damon would always chase her, so by hurting him maybe she felt that she'd get him to chase her even more or make him want to convince her to choose him? But Stefan is sort of "whatever" about her, and she needed to play a different game with him.

It's all very confusing.
