 It’s the weekend. No school. Finn and Quinn are taking an evening stroll around town. They talk about college, their current life together, generally, how far they have both come since their high school lives in Lima. There are some silences because of the large obstacles that were in their way long ago and occasional laughs because of all the silly things they both did as young teenagers (the longest laughs come when they talk about Glee and the hilarious original songs their old classmates wrote). At times during conversation, both of them would get a little tense. It wasn’t easy back then, but for them talking makes it easier now. Once the discussion died out (because of the tension or because they had nothing to talk about anymore, neither of them are sure), the couple simply walked along side each other silently. Quinn began toying with the straps of her camera and Finn (making the most noise of the two) was repeatedly reaching in and out of the paper bag for french fries to eat. Quinn breaks the silence (or the crunching sound of the paper bag), “Hey, Hudson… You know I love you, right?” Finn stops in his steps and turns to look at her, “Yeah. I know… I love you too. Always,” he ends his sincere reply and flashes the biggest grin Quinn has ever seen. It’s wide, beaming, it could light up a gloomy town. It’s a signature Finn Hudson grin (or show face). It makes the corners of Quinn’s lips lift at an instant. A hearty laugh leaves Quinn lips before she lifts her camera up to her face and snaps a photo of her boyfriend, capturing (probably) the cutest photo of him to date. Life is too short to be serious... So damn cute. I love reading those little things. A glimpse of the future they can have... __________________
