What I meant by dodging and not denying is that... he doesn't say anything.. he says "Yeah.. it's incredible" or something or "I've been hearing about that everywhere" but doesn't actually answer the question with "No, we are not dating" or "No, we are just good friends."

He just doesn't answer the question. He doesn't say yes or no just "It's incredible that people keep asking" or whatever.
