I love them as much as you guys but last night was just too much

Especially that scene where she rubs vapor rub on his chest while he slept and she was crying! WTF! She knows he is gay I hope they can focus on their friendship now

I've been thinking this through. If you were to rank the cast in order of importance Tina is season one would have been 11th (eighth on ND plus Will, Sue and Emma.) Pairing her with Artie didn't help because he was sixth on the glee club.
Pairing her with Mike in season two moved him up from last, but as the season progressed she fell behind Mike, Britne, Santana and newcomers Sam, Blaine, Beiste and Lauren. Perhaps she pulled ahead of Emma but that still 17th.
The only one she passed last year was Lauren.
Blaine joined the cast no lower than 10 and probably rose to sixth in season three.
With Kurt and Santana also in the top six the gayification of the show was hitting critical mass.
With Kurt and Blaine 1000 miles apart Blaine had little to do but sing. If Tina was to move up past anyone who was still a regular she needed a lot of scenes with someone higher on the list. Artie wouldn't work. He's dropping like a stone. Sam wouldn't help. He could disappear too. Blaine needed speaking scenes. Tina needed scenes. No matter how sick this gets it's the only way.
