I do too. I wish Tim would do more original works, but when the material matches with the director, well, I can't resist, and Tim doing The Addams Family is one I definitley cannot resist!.

Some of you may remember that Tim was originally in the running, or attached at some point, to do the first Addams Family movie back in 1991. I loved the movie, but it would of been interesting to see what he would of done with it.

ITA with this! I'm usually a little wary of remakes but this Addams Family project would be so perfect for him.

I've never seen The Nightmare Before Christmas.

But Tim doesn't disappoint so I'm sure it's great.

obssessedwithfilm.com called Tim a "dead end director" and wrote Tim Burton R.I.P. 1988-2010. WTF?!. I mean, come on!. I know "Alice" has been mixed with reviewers and fans and some complain it was obvious to do Alice and whatnot, but he's still a great, genius filmmaker!. Plus, "Alice" is a mondo hit. The biggest hit of Tim's career. #1 for 3 weeks!. Dead end director?. Sure.
