I'm glad they didn't cause I love that scene. I hate how down and sick he looks at first, but then I love when Matilda and the rest of the students cheer him on. Then he gets his confidence back and finishes that cake. Screw you Trunchbull! lol.

Yeah, I'm glad Ms. Honey adopted her and she got away from her horrible, trashy family. I never understood how they couldn't see how blessed they were to have a genius daughter like Matilda.
