thatas so close awesome! i can't wait yeah im glad they all came back too its really nice of all the actors to want to come back but for alot of them this is where their big career started so i guess they owe it to the movie in a way.

The writers of the new film said they were disappointed with American Wedding. They felt it became The Stifler Show, Kevin was just in the background and the ensemble/friendship of the first two was not there. So, they wanted to make sure this new movie was along the lines of the original.

I'm glad they came back. I'd like to know what their thoughts where on the other movies that came after that and just had the American Pie title but had nothing to do with the quality of the first films

I have a feelings that this movie will be good maybe possibly better than the first one. Which, is a stand-alone movie cause of how out there it was at the time.

I was at Wal Mart yesterday and they had all the American Pie movies for $5.

wow that is so cheap i wonder why they would sell it that cheap its still a pretty decent set of movies.

Thats very interesting how the writes said that about american wedding i can totaly agree though it was alot of like slapstick comedy and a little less depth and thats what to me made it a stiffler show but at leaset it was better than the movies that had followed! obviously eugene levy was happy to be apart of anything american pie.

One of the writers has been re-tweeting people's thoughts on the movie who have seen it in the few premieres they've had. Good buzz. Early reviews from some college students from Penn State on their web page have been positive as well.

From what I have seen on some sites, the movie looks to be the longest of the series at 113 minutes (1hr. 53 min).
