That scene was a little OOC since she doesn't seem really the type to care all that much. But maybe it's because she makes up the front, so we all got to see her actually vulnerable.

Totally, first only someone from their social circle would be affected by something like that. Really she only had rich guys admiration to gain by that stupid prank.

That's should've been the reason but of course the writers ruin it with the NV dialogue after.
