I'm not a big fan of the TB finale and it's not because of Eric. Don't get me wrong I love Eric, but he's not the only reason I watch. I just felt that the pacing of the episode was way off and it felt too much like a filler episode. They killed Maryann too soon in the episode, which is weird to say. The first half was good and then it dragged on from there.

I did like the Bill/Jessica moment. I love their father/daughter dynamic. Jessica and Hoyt broke my cold heart. Ms. Hamby isn't dealing too well with emotional pain. Let's hope Hoyt gets his girl back. I continue to enjoy Jason's moronic ways and his friendship with Andy. Lafayette had little moments that amused me. Naked Sam is always good.

I am looking forward to Season 3 though. They left quite a bit of openings. I need a break from the cheese that is Bill and Sookie, so his disappearance is welcomed. I hope Sookie continues to question her humanity and begins a road to self-discovery. With Jason killing Eggs I hope this leads to some Tara/Jason scenes. I loved their scenes in the beginning of Season 1. I wonder how Tara is going to deal with Eggs' death and will Jason be racked with guilt and confess to killing him. I'm intrigued by the Queen's interest in Sookie. Ugh it's going to be a long year... thank goodness I have Gossip Girl back just in time.

i think it will lead to tara/jason scens. I think alan said something about that in one of his interviews.
