I think this thread is great! I've been trying to compile a list of all the movies Tony has mentioned and I've got a fair few. My next mission is to see all of them! I've started that as well but I just don't have the time to spend, plus my library doesn't always have them. But I'm trying!

Wow, that sounds like a mission.

It's definitely fun, and it helps that I've already got a headstart and have seen quite a few of the ones he's brought up. I have seen a couple that I hadn't seen that I really enjoyed, though. Netflix is pretty helpful when my library fails me!

So, you're a film addict too?

I've rarely seen the movies he talks about and I've only heard of some.

Oh, yeah! Growing up my dad used to make a big deal of making me see 'classic' movies as he liked to call them so that got me started on seeing a lot of movies that my friends considered 'old'. Actually part of what got me hooked on NCIS was that my mom started watching it and she said I'd probably like Tony because of all his movie references because I make a fair few movie references myself so she knew I'd like Tony.

That's a cool way to get into a show.

Artima Bale, that's a cool goal you have! I would like to see all the movies Tony has mentioned, but for me that would take forever.

Yeah, it's definitely going to take me a while, but it's fun anyway!

I would never be able to that, I'm not that big of a movie person.

But like I said, I think it's cool.

Anyone notice if he mentioned any movies? I don't recall any being mentioned...

There could have been something at teh beginning, when they found the second victim, but I don't know.

I think he made a "Gremlins" reference when he asked if anyone had fed Palmer after midnight. In the movie, the cute furry critters turned into monsters/Gremlins when that happened.

He always calls Palmer the autopsy gremlin.
Okay, not always, but it's his name for him.

Gibbs said "Make sure you don't get him wet."

Oh that's so true! I didn't even think of that!

So we want to add Gremlins to the list?

We can. Though in that case we could have already done it.

But this time, it was more of a Gibbs movie reference, if you asked me.
Tony just called Jimmy the (autopsy) gremlin, but it was Gibbs who actually made the mention of the movie.
