It was an excellent episode. I loved all the little explanations. I'm too lazy for the spoiler tags... It has so many great/shocking moments... Just going to say that I'm truly looking forward to see what the last Ziva-arch episode will include...

I don't think spoiler tags are necessary. Its just nice when describing the specific twists. I only used them so it wouldn't spoil things since I knew the episode had aired not too long before my post & not everyone will see it straight away

According to rules though as soon as something has aired its no longer a spoiler so the tags aren't necessary at all either

In fact I had pinpointed my finger at Odette when Adam said Ziva knew her.

I was already thinking that before that but that just made me worry it was her even more

The fact Odette was working her own angle that recruited Bishop. So, yeah, it was natural to think of her. And that was the gotcha. They knew most would go with Odette. And them boom, they did the twist...

Makes me wonder what is going to happen in January?

I always had a funny feeling about Sarah, but because of Phineas getting along famously well with Gibbs I've never gave a 2nd thought to it..

Odette was acting weird too, but I'm glad that Ziva's judgement wasn't off when it came to her.. Odette testing Bish kind of made sense, I wonder about the outcome if that proposition? It could be interesting to see Bishop working on more undercover assignments in the future..

I've read quite a few theories about Phineas. I don't think that he's old enough to be Ari's... I think, he has either been kidnapped when he was a baby or is the nephew of Ari... Because him calling Gibbs "Jethro Gibbs" can be cute but also strange as well...

I feel sorry for Adam that they couldn't save him... But I also think that they gave him a nice ending, with dying for the one that he always loved, no matter what...

Lastly, I think that the episode in January will focus on Gibbs & Phineas and on Ziva finding Tony & Tali since they went into hiding

I could be wrong but I get a final season feel at the moment. Gibbs was getting close to Phinneus. Opening up his life. Does he foster him?

And now Bishop's potential training...

It was odd the Sarah and Phinneus storyline because it was so sudden. And they had ingrained them so much in Mr. Silent Gibbs life.

I was getting a love interest vibe but they had started to Gibbs and Sloan build, and then that sorta went sideways for a while...

Or it could be does Emily (Bishop's protrayer) have her contract coming up? She's been around for a long time now, almost seems like she should be coming up for the 7 year renewal. Maybe they are planning something.

But then they did the set up with Tim last year, and it led to nothing. He stayed.

Was just thinking of this... a few episodes back when Phin left his laptop at Gibbs they zoomed in on it... should have figured that would be some kind of clue

Will be very interesting to see what is going to happen when the episodes start back up. I am glad they have kept the season exciting so far!

I totally feel like there was a missed opportunity here - the twins who played Tali have a younger sister who would probably be the right age to have passed as the flashback Tali. (Plus she's cute) She wasn't it though Would've been perfect imo though if they had done it. I guess having twins for the role is better though for filming. I just hope that if they do have a Tali & Ziva reunion that they do get the girls to play the part if they want it. Would be nice & then we really do get a 'what Tali looks like older' moment & not just a random new actor being it

She possibly does have one. I can't find any information on it, but I also can't see how many seasons her contract is for either. I feel like its the others who have their contracts end this season though . I doubt she had a full 7 year contract as that sounds like wishful thinking that the show would last that long. The other cast members seem to be signing deals every two years (or Mark may do it every year). I'd imagine that one year they have one group & the other year they do the other group of contracts

Although at the time. The show was not showing any signs of ending. So she might have under the typical 7 year. During all the contract periods I haven't heard of her having reup, Everyone else associated with the show except for Wilmer, I have heard... but she started airing in November 2013. So it's been six years officially. Maybe it's something else they are planning for the back end of the season with Bishop? But it seems like they are planning something... But then they have been building her and Nick.

Yeah, the never though the laptop was odd. But it was a good clue for Gibbs to catch onto.

Children grow. That is the hard part in going back in time and showing a flashback of Ziva passing off Tali to take her to the States to Tony. Which is why they probably didn't want to show the child too much... You often saw in the early seasons when they had flashback of Kelly. They always had to change the actresses at a certain point. Because Kelly never got older but the actresses would have...

With Odette trying to recruit Bishop, and Gibbs developing a nice relationship with Phinneus, I wondered that too.

While I understand the parallel with Ziva/Ari, found it very disappointing that Sarah was Zahar.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I said it would have been cute to have the younger sister of the original Tali actors play Tali for the flashback instead of someone completely new. It also would've made it so Tali was a close resemblance to Tali of the past given she is related to them. Unlike when they need to recast Kelly as they just work with what they can get there
As for Tali in the present no need for them to recast as they should have aged just as the character has. Unlike with Kelly who they have to recast since she has to stay the same age.

Tali wouldn't have been used much in the flashback because there was no need for it. It was showing Ziva's story after Tali. She can't tell Tali's story with Tony since she isn't there. Plus to show the flashback she described they would've needed Michael

I haven't read anything about contract-renewals, but I don't think that this would be the last season... Also the cast & crew still seem to enjoy working on the show...

I would love to see Bishop having a deep undercover assignment because she has the potential to get the job done. And it'd be good for her relationship with Torres as well...

Hopefully the same actress will come back to play Tali when Ziva finds her (& Tony)... I assume that the twins are still in business ...

On the side note: I love Palmer's & Kasie's easy friendship... It was funny how Palmer kept sitting at the lab just to ensure that he catches Ziva this time around

I only found it while stalking things about them while following speculation over if they'll appear again. I didn't necessarily focus on the child's face either but I just thought it would've been cool had they done that. But I also don't know if the family would want their younger daughter in the business too

The twins who played Tali before are still in the business or at least are going to be in a movie coming out next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if the family didn't want their youngest daughter to be on the screen... Good for the twins: they seemed to be nice kids...

I loved the parallel, it was a good ending for Ziva's career at ncis... A closure of some sorts... (I know that there was something else I wanted to comment on, but I can't recall it at the moment...)

Woah, I usually see most plot twists coming but that one actually made me swear out loud in a WTF moment.

So Zarah the one they killed wasn't Zarah at all, she was a decoy and the real Zarah had been living next to Gibbs the whole time! Jeez, I really did not see that coming. I was on edge the whole time when Ziva fought Zarah, when Zarah dropped that pole on Ziva I couldn't bear to watch! And then Gibbs came and took Zarah out, just like when Ziva killed her brother to save Gibbs. I love how. there isn't anything they wouldn't do for each other. So glad Ziva wasn't too badly injured after that.

So Tony did find Ziva then! Before she came back to DC. That's great to know, still wish we'd get a scene with them together, though but maybe that might not happen, yet? still, keeping

Poor Phineas. How on earth is Gibbs going to explain what his mother was up to and what happened? and how could Zarah use her own son to get close to Gibbs that's horrible. It was interesting to see some flashbacks to how and why Ziva ended up having to fake her own death and how she got Tali sent back to Tony. Adam's death was heartbreaking, so much heartbreak for Ziva He was a wonderful friend and ally to her, and he loved her even though she couldn't reciprocate those feelings.

I loved how Jimmy was determined not to miss Ziva this time, the way he greeted her was so cute.

HEAVENS! What a fantastic reveal and setup. I was just enjoying Gibbs and child. Was happy Gibbs was getting out-of-work subplots. And BAM. They connected it.

WOW at the parallel of Ziva/Gibbs with Ari/Zarah. Nice continuity.

I was thinking the worst with Odette but nah. Just ex-CIA. No big deal.
