Episode Summary

It will probably be forever a mystery. One of those things that never are explained, even at the end of the series, and are nice plot holes for fanfic writers. Kind of like Deeks' family past, Hetty's family and past, Granger's family and past, Kensi's time on the street and if she has any other family besides her mother, Sam's childhood, Eric's family and past and Nell's family and past.

Can't wait to see all the undercover identities they have! I love when they go undercover. Especially a certain couple *squeals* ROFL!

The most boring finale of any show, this year. I am so over the Callen family drama they will drag this to the very end don't know if I will stick around for it.

I think it's time to focus on another lead character Deeks, Sam or Kensi what do we know exactly about them, in episode 18 we heard about the IA investigation on Deeks thought it was a set up for the finale so disappointed right now that they have drop that SL for the finale.

About Anna I didn't like the actress or the character. I hope we don't see her again.

(a) I enjoyed the episode. Maybe it didn't have all the tense shootouts and stuff but the personal dramas were good.
(b) I loved that everyone Arkady turned to hated him and only helped him because they owed him.
(c) I didn't like the Anna character at all. Didn't see much of the actress to form an opinion
(d) About the Callen mystery... It is annoying to be sure. Annoyingly, they could easily drop if there. Callen will stop looking for his father, believing he's dead. I honestly cannot think of a scenario right now that would have them pick up the thread. And yes, I agree that they could easily never address it again and leave the mystery to die on the vine even as the series ends. While I'm at it, can I about the fact that we finished the season and never another word was mentioned about the mole who found Hetty's personal information and who hired him?

Not only that but the IA arc wasn't mentioned either. :irk:

my thoughts:

1. I thought the action scenes were done very well. The whole sequence where they infiltrated that place was amazing.....especially Kensi's scene. Still trying to figure out what type of weapon she used.

2. I actually liked Anna. For some reason, when I watched the promo, I thought she was played by Emily (Bishop).....they kind of looked similar. I loved that she said she didn't want anything to do with Arkady and that he wasn't her father, but her actions and attitude were totally him! The only thing I had a problem with was the ending....we see her walk away with the team and then the next scene Callen said she was MIA, what happened inbetween?

3. I'm still wondering how Kensi learned Russian that quickly. Seriously, there is no such thing as a "quick lesson in Russian"........I mean, she even had the accent down. I'm learning Russian and I'm nowhere near what she spoke. I mean, she also had to know Russian to know what they were saying and how to respond......it could have been anything, not just that one little piece! I know that this is a show, but come on....we only, from past eps, that she only speaks Spanish, French and Portuguese. Nothing, NOTHING about her learning Russian. Takes me back a few eps where Deeks spoke Spanish fluently after seasons of him stating he didn't know much!

4. I don't know why, it shouldn't have, but I was actually surprised that Hetty would lie to Callen again. SMH. That whole storyline is getting old, but I hope they bring it up again (maybe at the series finale?) because I want to know Hetty's reason for doing that. I have a theory for that (the reason why Hetty keeps things from the team, especially personal) and I've actually made it into a fanfic.

5. Callen's dad (or whoever that was in the cafe) looks like he could be related to Granger from the side angle we got. Also, the age of the photo doesn't really correspond to the age of the man.......I've seen pics from the 70's and 80's and the pic in the show was too new to be from either of those decades. We are talking about a 30-40 year old picture. The age of the man was right on, but the photo itself is not.

(3) OK, what did I miss. Hetty lied to Callen? You mean about his father's death? Is it possible she really doesn't know he's still alive? I'm wondering, having seen how desperately Callen has wanted this for so long, how she could keep steering him in the wrong direction (if she lied) To what end? At this point, he's an old man. All I can think of is that he's still helping in some fashion or another and that's more important than the personal relationship. Does he know about Callen?
(4) About the old-looking photograph..all I can think of is that it was taken with an old camera. Remember, they were in Russia. Not necessarily the place for the latest in the modern technology of the time. And yes, Callen's dad does bear some resemblance to Granger. Is there something we need to know? ??

(1) It has been so long since it has been brought up I'm not surprised that people have forgotten.
(2) I was talking about the time jump.....not about where she went.....I thought it was weird that they didn't show her leaving and how she left...I mean, did she fight them or did she sneak away? It was like she disappeared into thin air.
(3) hmmmmmm thanks for that.....didn't think of it that way. We always see Hetty as this omniscient person that we don't take into consideration that she might not know something.........
(4) That is true about Russian (one of the reasons I'm attracted to it I guess....I love rich, old culture). That would be very strange if we find out that his dad is a long lost relative of Granger's..........though I would LOVE to see Callen's reaction.

Watched the finale this morning.
Ok, I'm new to this show, and watched every episode in about a month or two. So can't really decide is this finale that good or that bad. But I will say, it was an interesting ride!
I also forgot about that Deeks / IA things, that is definetely interesting!
Callen family storyline is getting bored. I felt sorry for the guy when he learned that his father died. Can't he just catch a breakabout his family? Then, all of the sudden, his dad shows up, that really iritated me!
About Anna going MIA, when they left the garage, they probably left separately, because going as a group would raise somesuspicious. Also, don't like the actress that is portraying Anna, so I don't know how I feel about Anna.

Also, I hope that we never learn what Callen name is, G. is perfect! I was thinking, that's the strongest letter in the alphabet(IMO, it's have that strong sound, don't know how to explain it really), and when I think of all the funny stories between Sam and Callen about that letter - G-force, G.I. Joe.
