Countdown to the Season Premieres
The new season is just OVER a month away! 39 days for NCIS & NCIS NOLA..and 45 days for NCIS LA!
To me, it seemed like the last seasons just ended... What is everyone looking forward to and HOPING FOR this year on the shows?

Hi, Luna,
While I don't want to think about the end of summer, I'm looking forward to the new season of all the NCIS franchises. NOLA has huge potential. Frankly, my brain is fried and I don't remember at the moment how LA ended. What am I looking forward to? NCIS: The reassignment of Ellie Bishop. For real. I hate the character that much.

LA: For Deeks and Kensi to sort out their relationship NOLA: I've only been a couple of times, but I love the City (the areas that are touristy, for obvious reasons). Just so you know I've put the possible spoilers from both posts into spoiler tags. I also moved the information about Pauley to her thread (where we've already been discussing her allergic reaction). The thread title has also been changed (I can put the capitals back if you'd like though) & I topped this thread so it doesn't get lost
Please keep in mind that posting things in capitals is considered shouting on the internet I don't know what to think of or expect for NOLA since it is new, I just hope it does well. For NCIS I just hope it goes back to what we know & love. It may still have Bishop in it which I know will upset & annoy some fans but I hope that it can go back to what it was & remind everyone of all the reasons they loved the show before & allow them to keep watching & enjoying the show. In saying that I also hope that the Bishop character becomes more likable & better developed, & maybe some of the fans who are unsure on her or even hate her can come around to at least tolerating her presence on the show Edit: Another thing I'd like to see - Tony &/or McGee find a chance to have happiness & love in their life. It may be too soon for Tony though, & upset a lot of fans so lets concentrate on McGee for a chance please   (guess that's two things I want to see  )__________________

NCIS: What Chelle said about it going back to what we know and also about McGee and Tony finding happiness and love
NCIS LA: To pick up a bit. I was bored through half the season. NCIS NOLA: That it is just as good as NCIS __________________

Yes. The Afghanistan storyline was what I hated about the season.
 Wish they could have found a better storyline for Kensi while Daniela was pregnant.__________________

It is a shame when they have to write around pregnancies as sometimes what they write just isn't the best storyline

I think writting the character out is usually better than them hiding them behind things like clothing & furniture

 I had no clue that "Kenzi's" pregnancy was the reason for the Afghan story line. It really was pretty lame. It did have it's moments toward toward the end but all in all it wasn't "all that". And I agree Chelle. Written out? They could easily have had her shot or something and recovering off screen... keeping her in the show via mentions.Last edited by Toni Boop; 09-08-2014 at 02:53 AM |

Agreed Chelle.
Yeah, still isn't showing up for me either. Agreed Toni. That would have been better IMO. That's what they did to a character in the another show I had watched. She was shot and then she rejoined her team later on after her recovery. __________________

There's a lot of ways to write a character out for a while, I think they wanted something which seemed believable but wasn't done lots of time

It could be permissions, maybe ask on the mod board again but this time in the technical thread? I just tested a few things including quoting the post which you received help and trying to bring it over here and the timers no longer work but if I quote in the mod board it works still (at least in preview, I never posted anything anywhere).
