think the "dinozzo-case" was much more interesting than the other.
it was nice what senior did for the woman and it was totally clear that abby was going to help him with the prints. looks like father and son finally found common ground. and in this episode were some scenes in which i noticed more than anytime before how similar michael and robert wagner look. |

My thoughts on both the cases:
I thought it was an interesting case... I couldn't decide who shot the guy at first So the two didn't conspire together! They did a good job at confusing everyone. Love that Gibbs was the one thin thought to look form the document on the computer I really liked the other case with DiNozzo Sr. and Jr. working together. It did kind of annoy me a little that Tony kept trying to get his dad to drop helping Susan. I was just like 'let him do and so he has something to do!'. Geez. I am glad Abby helped him and she found out who Susan was... not like it was a surprise she would help . I am glad Tony turned it around and went looking for Susan with his dad and that they found her. So sad though. The ending was so good. So great of Sr to pretend he was Susan father ND tony watching at the end... just so good. Besides the case... Liked Gibbs and DiNozzo Sr working on the boat together. So weird not seeing it being Gibbs and Tony or McGee and Tony. You can tell (or so it seems) they are trying to phase Tony out little by little Liked tony telling Gibbs thanks for getting his father to do that. __________________

It may be sad but maybe in a way it is a good thing if they're slowly phasing him out. Maybe it'll get us used to the idea in a way while also getting to say goodbye to all aspects (like having this episode with his father). idk, my opinion might change when I get to this ep

I do agree with you Chelle. Maybe you will see it differently when you see it. It's just how I felt when watching it

Love that Tony & his father have lunch together regularly
Nice seeing Gibbs trying to help Sr find something to do. He cares not just for Tony but for Tony's family doesn't surprise me but nice of Abby to run the prints for Sr Gibbs seemed to understand the cloud pretty well then I agree that the DiNozzo case is more interesting than the real one wow those two women though can't blame the guy for wanting an out as clearly all they cared for at that point was the money poor Susan . very nice of Sr pretending to be her father still though. What he said was sweet & could relate a little to his relationship with Tony. Especially the first parts. Nice seeing Tony there at the end listening/watching it __________________

I forgot to say the thing with the phone switch between McGee & Delilah confused me & felt a little weird . It was just setting up a reason for him to tell someone about the ring. But it being Bishop does feel like a push to have them working together instead of Tony. Tony was more interacting with his father only in the ep. Normally I think Tony would have been the one to question McGee but with him being distracted by his father I guess that position would have gone to the female on the team instead anyway

I had forgotten about that, but I agree. It did seem like it was a setup for them to work together instead of Tony. Just more signs they were setting us up for Tony's departure
