Season 1 Discussion - The beginning...
SEASON 1 (2003 - 2004) 101. Yankee White A Naval Aviator carrying the nuclear "football" dies aboard Air Force One after having lunch with the President. Air Force One is then required to land immediately as per SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). The aircraft lands in Wichita, Kansas. Special Agent Gibbs' NCIS MCRT arrives in the middle of a bureaucratic row among FBI, Secret Service, and Local Law Enforcement. NCIS commandeers AF 29000 and flies the aircraft back to Washington D.C. Upon landing the deceased aviator is taken back to the Navy Yard. Where it is discovered that the aviator's uniform has been laced with poison. Agent Gibbs secures a place aboard Air Force One and foils an assassination plot with the help of Secret Service Agent Caitlin Todd and an un-named Marine. 102. Hunt Out To Dry A marine dies during a training jump. His parachute was sabotaged. NCIS tries to determine who did it. When they run into a legal issue, they call on Lt Bud Roberts from J.A.G. 103. Seadog A Navy sailor is killed, an apparent casualty of a drug war, but Gibbs and his team refuse to believe the sailor was dirty. 104. The Immortals A young sailor is found dead at the bottom of the sea, chained to weights, in what appears to be a video game gone wrong. 105. The Curse When a Navy lieutenant's mummified remains are discovered almost ten years after he was reported missing along with one million dollars from his ship's safe, Gibbs and his team investigate the death as well as the theft. 106. High Seas Two Sailors from the same ship overdose on meth, despite their claims of never having touched the drugs. 107. Sub Rosa Gibbs and Todd investigate the possibility of an imposter onboard a nuclear submarine. 108. Miminum Security A translator from Gitmo dies with emeralds in his stomach. NCIS investigates to find out which prisoner smuggled them in, and what he's after. 109. Marine Down After a marine widow receives a call from her dead husband, the NCIS team takes on the case and has to exhume the body to deduce whether the call was a prank or not. 110. Left For Dead A woman who digs herself out of a grave after being buried alive comes to the attention of Gibbs and his team when she remembers something about a bomb being hidden on a Navy Ship, even though she has amnesia. 111. Eye Spy When a Navy commander, who was a technical adviser to a civilian contractor for a Navy weapon, is found dead on the beach, the NCIS team investigates the murder using satellite technology. 112. My Other Left Foot The NCIS team is called in to investigate after the fresh leg of a long-dead Marine is found in a dumpster in West Virginia. 113. One Shot, One Kill A sniper kills Marine recruiters and leaves a white feather behind as his calling card. 114. The Good Samaritan A local county sheriff calls in NCIS upon discovering a murdered lieutenant commander by the roadside, quickly followed by the murder of a civilian contractor two counties over. As the team struggle to find a motive or suspects for either case, another murder occurs; this time a naval aviator. Ducky points out that while the murders appear to follow the same modus operandi and seem to have been carried out by a serial killer, some elements are different, indicating that the murders were not carried out by the same individual. A DNA sample draws suspicion onto the widow of the third victim, but she has an iron-clad alibi, leaving Gibbs with a complex investigation and many loose ends to tie up. 115. Enigma Gibbs' former commanding officer, AWOL from Iraq, enlists Gibbs' help in uncovering a dangerous conspiracy. 116. Bête Noire An unknown terrorist enters the NCIS headquarters and takes several members of the team hostage. 117. The Truth Is Out There When the body of a marine is found after a party in an illegal night club, the team investigates a number of possible leads - including blackmail and accidental death. 118. UnSEALed An ex-Navy SEAL, convicted of killing his wife, escapes from Leavenworth to pursue the real killer. However, it turned out the killer wasn't the husband, but a woman married to another naval officer. 119. Dead Man Talking Gibbs and his team are called to investigate when a fellow NCIS agent is found murdered. 120. Missing A marine goes missing after a date with a reporter. During the investigation, the team discovers that three former members of his unit are dead and suspect the unit commander to be a serial killer. 121. Split Decision A Marine is found murdered by an anti-tank weapon, and the investigation leads N.C.I.S. to a local militia group. 122. A Weak Link Gibbs and his team investigate the death of a SEAL that occurred during a training exercise. As the investigation progresses, they come to suspect that the death was a murder rather than an accident. 123. Reveille Gibbs' determination to track down the terrorist from 'Bete Noire' becomes an obsession that concerns his entire team. __________________

Okay, please, someone else than me post
So I'm rewatching the whole series. Anyone wanna join me? Today I watched Yankee White. Little things I wrote as I watched... Ah, season 1... No McGee for a while, ditto on Jimmy Palmer, and no Ziva at all... But Kate! And Gerald! I loved them, miss them, so this will be fun! Here we go! 101. Yankee White Awww and no black and white act start/end yet either... not 'til a little into season 2. The song was a liiittle different in the first season, less techno punch to it... And yet some things never change Gibbs and his boat! And Tony!! Ducky, saving the day at the airport Gary Grubbs... I love that man... So interesting here Fornell doesn't seem to know Gibbs, as we know he does Gibbs & Kate, already matching wits... And ditto Tony and Kate... Tony, Tony... love that man Gibbs all giddy walking around AF1, priceless. The count on Ducky's interrupted stories: 1 And Gibbs' rules. Oh man, Ducky and Tony taking pics at the president's desk... such a great moment, especially when Gibbs catches them And Kate already understanding them, trying to plead their case to her boss. Hee, Tony, riding the body bag... Poor guy Geraaaaald!!! Handsome fella... And... hold it... ABBYYYYY!!! My girl! *hugs* She was a little more mellow back in the day Tony & Abby, as we say at FF, the one and only original dream team! TONY: Bless you. ABBY: What are you, my priest? TONY: Curse you? First shot of the squad room! The orange wizard Heee, McGee and Abby, always love their scenes. Poor exasperated Abby with her test runnings... cartwheels Gibbs and his gut! Always about the plane Oh man, the Gibbs/Kate bathroom scene... I love it. And our first big action. Badass Gibbs, taking down the fake reporter while he's freakin' shot at with a bigger gun Nice And then Gibbs offers Kate a job! Oh, and the mystery redhead! They never explained that, did they NCIS goes unnoticed, and Gibbs is back at work on his boat! |

I do love reviews so I wouldn't mind reliving it like that. Well if you do watch some tomorrow, I can't wait to read what you think.

I'll watch as much as I can...LOVE Yankee White, but the Gibbs/Fornell dynamic is weird in that one. I love the relationship they have now
Oh the mysterious redhead that has made more than one appearance...maybe his first ex-wife?? But would he hang out with her, they seemed pretty friendly |

They were too civil to each other for her to be his ex-wife I am half way through watching Hung Out To Dry. |

I had a thought for a while maybe she was like... Shannon's sister or something... Don't know that we saw them as being involved, just really close, so...
