Episode Summary
As Torres and Sloane run protection detail for U.S. Senator John Phillips in
Afghanistan for the holidays, they must urgently return to the states after
hearing the senator's son is in the ICU. Also, Gibbs and the team investigate
the altercation that caused the life threatening injuries to the senator's son.

I was mostly just getting the threads up & not reading them but yes I thought it didn't seem overly interesting. Hopefully it is & we'll both be surprised

It was a heartwarming reunion between father and son.

McGee who didn't wanted to miss his kids first Christmas.

Gibbs who tells a few times that parents love their kids was all in the Christmas spirit.

The rest it was a bit of a boring episode we all knew that Sloane and Torres would survive the desert so sorry for the young corperal who was blown up in his Humvee.

I hate!! Hate!! Sloane she ruins NCIS for me please can we have less of her and more Gibbs and his team again.

Torres was great as always love him.

Now can someone tells me why we don't have any Gibbs/Abby scene's anymore we are 10 episodes in and still not one scene. Dit something happend I know Abby is going leave at the end of the season but that can't be the reason we don't see them together in a scene anymore!!

Sofar I am not a fan of this season

I'm not aware of anything happening to stop them having scenes. I'd put it more on they've got too many characters to juggle around to give us the basics like Abby/Gibbs that we want

1. felt bored the whole episode - more or less.

2. i don't really hate her, but i don't know why they brough her in. there is no reason. there are enough people on the team and they work well together. they should bring more reeves instead. he was missing again this ep.

3. miss that too.

4. i really hope this is the last season. it was a great show, but it has lost too many team members. and with abby leaving....

I wasn't sure about this episode from the description, but it turned out to be a really good episode.

Kinda figured the roommate did it when McGee and Bishop went to the apartment and he said that Philips died when he really didn't.

That comedian was just annoying. I am glad that he experienced what he did and it ended up changing his views on things.

I am glad that they didn't have the senator die. Can never tell what they are going to do, but what a great ending having father and sun reunite.

Nice we also saw Abby and Palmer. No ducky though

see im opposite i dislike reeves his more useless than slogan i like her i like that she isnt a cop and she one hte same level as gibbs she reminds me of kate

Its interesting to see the different side of what NCIS does - protection detail. Sure we've seen it in the past but it feels like its been a while since we have & I don't remember seeing it overseas

Ellie's learned well how to twist things to get her way to get the case turned over to NCIS. Surprised she wasn't meant to get it, feel like Gibbs would've wanted to be involved. Unless its just McGee who didn't want it which is understandable with two new babies at home

Cute Abby/Palmer scene, but felt it was missing some life? The McAbby scene felt more right. Maybe I just love them no matter what

I get that the Commander wants to see his son but he's an idiot

glad they solved the case in time for Christmas

I like how Sloane used the bullets to see when a vehicle was approaching

Really not a strong episode, boring too but we felt that with the episode description so not entirely surprised
