⚓ Celebrating Thirteen Years!





{ BOARD OPENED: JUNE 1 2009 }

Fourteen and a half years ago, on November 2007 the campaign for an NCIS board was started, and after much campaigning this board was created on June 1 2009. Created a few months before the start of the first spin off, NCIS: Los Angeles, this board was originally here to discuss the original NCIS. However we always had episode threads for LA, and over time would gain more threads related to the first spin off. Shortly before the start of the second spin off, NCIS: New Orleans, the board officially changed its name and became NCIS Franchise on June 30 2014. That was just after we celebrated our seventh anniversary, and here we are six years later and still going strong. While we have sadly said goodbye to NCIS: New Orleans after seven seasons, we have also welcomed NCIS: Hawai'i into our fandom and have the first international spin off, NCIS: Sydney, coming in 2023.

Today though we are here to celebrate each and every person who has made this board what it is today. It is to celebrate our amazing casts who have made each of these four amazing shows what they are. Who encourage us to tune in every week and fan and speculate over the moments, the ups and downs, the frustratingly long hiatuses (especially after numerous cruel cliffhangers!), and everything in between. Thank you all!

Happy 13 years to an amazing forum! Hopefully I'll be able to find a way to watch NCIS Sydney when it starts next year, I hope there will be some kind of connection to LA because I hear the former showrunner of LA will be involved.

Yeah Australia is going to have their very own NCIS spin off which will air here first, then be available to watch in other countries on Paramount+. I am not sure on the timing between airing on a channel here (which CBS/Paramount own) & going globally to Paramount+. We don't have much information beyond a show runner & location at the moment

Whole incredible where have always and will always be a random stopper by love ya both Chelle where hope you don't mind how did the icon credit I know you prefer you profile page which I'll do over in Avatar but for an already busy sig thought short cuts where can and gonna miss Steph and hope she's alright

When I visit always have such a fantastic time skipping of might be by in the fall even if its me catching up of previous seasons for all 3 and am so happy found Hanna where its a lot of fan talking to her about JAG :now: now just have to lure Jac [ico choco?]
Am very excited to get back to OG/LA and Hawaii was intriguing the first 13 episodes saw

they could have written her legbtq connection a lot better but am always happy to see any representation is provided

Unfortunately you need to have made 101 posts before you can add a custom icon. So until then you only have the choice of the custom avatars/icons. There's some information in this thread about icons to give you a bit more information. But for now it is just that you need a few more posts & then you can use one but I'm sure you'll get there in no time

Congrats on 13 years.

It was hard to believe that NCIS is one of the longest show that I'm still currently watching. I started watching since i was 13 in 2005? Now i'm 30.
