I tried reading The Sun Also Rises once, and I just couldn't do it. I got halfway through and was like "I'M DONE! I CAN'T FINISH THIS!"

Ooh, we're talking about books?
Jory, me too. I forced myself to finish it but when I was done, I was like, NO. NEVER, EVER, EVER READING HEMINGWAY AGAIN. __________________

OMG I LOVE HEMINGWAY YOU PEOPLE ARE BREAKING MY HEART!
I've only read The Sun Also Rises though. But I loved it to death! I'm about to start The Old Man and the Sea. I love disillusioned 1920's writing so much. I love Fitzgerald a whole lot more though. Gatsby and Tender is the Night are And ok Jory I will take that into consideration about RPattz if I ever see anything else of his. I won't tolerate Twilight though and will probably always have a grudge. |

GATSBY! OMG that is my favorite book EVER. I'm so in love with it. Fitzgerald is a wonderful writer.

Fitzgerald owns my soul! Seriously. I have to read This Side of Paradise this summer. But I'm scared to read The Last Tycoon because it's unfinished I think and I'm afraid I'll be frustrated forever.

Me too. My mom's been on my ass for not reading this summer. And my friend wants me to read the Sookie Stackhouse series but I have too much snobby literature I need to read first. This summer I'm going to try and do:
This Side of Paradise The Old Man and the Sea Exodus |

Amy, I've been making a list since January. It's literally 14 pages long.

I got several books when I was up in Portland this weekend. New books make me extremely happy. __________________

Geez, I can't even begin to mention. There's some Dave Eggers, some more Fitzgerald, the rest of the Janet Evanovich books, the Gossip Girl series because I haven't read it yet...and a bunch more.

Word of advice on reading the Gossip Girl series: don't expect it to be ANYTHING like the tv show. I love the books for being the trashy teen novels that they are, and they're fun, but they're as different as the show as possible.

I know, that's why I want to read them. I still haven't seen all of Season 2 yet.

Yeah, word of advice on that too: DON'T. Seriously. I know Air enjoyed it, and others did too, but I despised it.
But if you are going to watch, skip 215-222. And 224. __________________
