aww Jess!

I don't feel well, been having problems for days, & today after swimming class I just went home, I had a 2 hour english class to go to but I just skipped. My teacher will understand, I'm there almost every class while it's not obligated so I can afford to stay home once I guess.

Plus I need to rest, I'm going to Disney on Ice tonight & I wanna feel better.

My English teacher of last year said my English was good too, but the one in the Didactic Workshop gave me a remark for my English not being fluent enough. & that I look angry when I'm teaching... No really?
But whatever, people who had her last year already warned me she fails you for the least so...

And she can't even speak decent English herself! She has this very Dutch sentence structures, and it just seems like she literally translates it into English, it's horrible.

I'm aware I probably do it sometimes too, but she does it all the time! Luckily for all my other English classes I have another teacher. He's never in a bad mood.

I don't understand.

The worst part is just the pronunciation, I've been speaking with an American accent (of course you can hear I'm not a native speaker but still...) through my high school years, and now we have to be able to speak with a British accent. My one teacher sounds okay doing that, but that DW one just sounds ridiculous.

And I get remarks about my american [a] all the time.

Nothing against British people, because the native speakers like Kate have a beautiful accent, but people who have to learn it sound so artificial. It's really not nice.

I once had a English teacher who had a horrible Dutch accent. It was really annoying and just irritating.

Don't listen to that teacher Val, I think your English is jus fine.
