Haha, yeah glad she didn't faint. I was very happy for her though and it was fun to see her so excited.

What other scenes from 'The Holiday' are you a fan of?

I was happy for her, too. The media in Greece went crazy, and announced every win of hers with a separate tribute to her! It was such a wonderful year!

I suppose that my favourite "Holiday" scenes, and the ones I can never have enough of, are all the Iris/Miles or Iris/ Arthur scenes. I adored her kindness.

Seems Kate has loads of fans in Greece, that's great.

I loved her interactions with Miles and Arthur. I wished we had more Iris/Graham scenes though.

You bet on it! I larked on a greek forum about cinema the other day, and there were those threads about the GGs, the SAG Awards, or even the Oscars. There were some movie threads, too. Anyway, when it comes to the award threads, they were all dating back to 2009. All the posters there were predicting Kate's win, and they were betting about the other winners. There was a male poster there, who is, perhaps, the biggest male and foreigner fan of Kate. On one of his posts, he said how much he loved her, and how he wished he would marry her.

It's great that Kate has fans all over the world. And I love that people were predicting for Kate to win, she's that good.

Jude Law's scenes were mostly with Cameron Diaz's character and I can't say I was the biggest fan of her character.

I'm not a big fan of her character and their story in general, too. It seemed just so, so classic that we could all predict what was going on. Seemed to me that it was all about sex, and having fun, and such. Iris and Miles' relationship, on the other hand, was way more meaningful to both of them.

Exchanging your house with the one of a complete stranger's though, isn't very safe. You don't know who that person is, and you don't know if he really is what he claims he is... I don't really like that part of the movie, it's more like: "Oh, hi, we're both desperate, we meet online, and a couple of minutes later, we've both switched our homes...". For someone who's not very experienced on the internet and the dangers it might have, this will mostly look like: "Oh, what a great idea"... But, what to do... There's no other way you can keep the movie going...

I really love the fact that Iris was able to make a whole new, different life there, with lots of friends. And, between you and me, it would be thrilling having a Hollywood legend as your friend

True, realistically speaking. I would never do it, not in a million years. Not sure how many people would.

I do wonder how realistic that is, if that actually happens. I'm never heard of such a thing until I saw the movie.
