New Ask Tina video.

30 Rock - Tina Goes Live! - Video - NBC.com

I like the idea about performing 30 Rock live. I loved to see them on stage in the season 2 DVD extras.

That's an interesting idea about performing 30 Rock live. I haven't seen the one live performance they have done, but I bet it would be very cool, especially since they basically all have some sort of live-performance background.

I would LOVE to see them do 30 Rock live. One of the soaps, One LIfe to Live actually did a live show.

I remember OLTL doing that. ER did it too once. I haven't seen either but from what I've heard OLTL was more successful.

I"d love a live 30 Rock show.

I think 30 Rock would be awesome live too!!! That would be really cool. Even though I didn't watch it, I remember too that Will and Grace did it a few times.

Will and Grace is filmed in front of a live studio audience though.

I've seen OLTL's live broadcast, it was very successful.

A live broadcast would be awesome, we all know Tina is a whiz with live tv!

Random but I was just thinking thank God 30 Rock doesn't have a laugh track, I can't freaking stand those.

I hate laugh tracks too. Luckily most sitcoms seem to be doing away with them. I remember when Arrested Development, Malcolm in the Middle, and The Bernie Mac Show didn't have laugh tracks and that was considered unusual.

I agree but since they're not filming in front of an audience I think laugh tracks would be pointless anyway.

Yeah, they'd definitely be out of place. Although really, I never got why shows that filmed in front of an audience had laugh tracks. I mean, its not like the viewers don't know its not real, esp when its the same exact laugh each time

Tina played the leader of the Bookaneers, the pirates who love reading. Notwithstanding the fact that pirates aren't as much fun these days as they used to be, the episode was amusing and Tina (I imagine that she'd let me call her Tina, were we to meet someday) seemed to be very much into her role. It's no Sarah Palin impression, but it's still good. (Actually, Tina Fey doing her Sarah Palin impression on Sesame Street -- that I'd like to see.)

Sesame Street: Elmo and the Bookaneers will be released on DVD on April 21, 2009. List price is $14.93 but Amazon has it for $9.99.

Some do, some don't. Depends on the show. I know Friends didn't have one. They relied on us.

That is definitely a good thing! Though, I wouldn't know where to put the laugh tracks. I would just think that it should be going the whole time because I know that's what I do at home when I watch it.
