Yeah I know.
Can I ask what's the difference between the standalone and serial sections? I thought standalone was meant to be like stories that all happen within the one story (like a season of SV) and the seials would be like a series (all seasons of SV) but I see a mix of these on DI. Or have I missed something? __________________

No standalone fanfics are usually one shots. So they're like just super short stories that are one post or two depending on the length of it. I think sometimes they're short chapter fics, but that's usually only if they're for a fic event like the holiday fan fic extravaganza or the Valetine's Day one or the Summer one. Serial fan fiction is supposed to be multi-chapter fics.

Yeah, so after seeing the kiss scene in Salvation, I was reminded of Krys' fic "Hear My Heartbeast on a Staircase" which was actually written about the events of Failsday and Lois' disappearance but this part really seems to fit the kiss scene in Salvation:

Oh thanks for that Rach. I usually only check DI for fic, never FF.net or KSite. I just assume when there's good stuff there you will tell me

Oh that fic was also posted on DI, but it would have be buried pretty far back in the standalone section so it was easier to find it via fanfic.net. Also there's a link to it in the OP
