I actually some times think she might have started to have feelings for him in the season 7 episode Apocalypse Lois just had that look in her eye when she hit Clark's shoulder. I don't know but you could tell there was definitely something there in the season 8 premiere.

Well yes I think she started to develop feelings for him in Apocalypse but she didn't fully acknowledge those feelings until Instinct.
