I cannot WAIT for Comic Con! Super pumped for that! And I'm pumped about the Emmy nominations. I know Jim is a lock but I want to know if there will be any surprises. I still think BBT has an outside shot at series nom. I mean an actual outside shot not a 'ooo maybe it could happen' shot. Like they're easily in the top 8 or 9 possibilities. They could sneak into the top 6 for a nomination. Or it will be Parks and Recreation. But one of those two shows will be nominated this year! I just have this ~feeling~

Emmy nominations are next Thursday morning! FINALLY!!!! Seriously nomination season is like my March Madness and I can't handle the speculating any more. I NEED TO KNOW! And then I can chillax until September (???) when I get to wonder if Jim or Steve Carell will take home the Emmy. It will be one of those two!

Very excited for Emmy nominations too! Jim is a shoo-in for sure I am hoping that the show will be nominated although they do have some stiff competition (e.g. Modern Family).

Interestingly enough, there has been some discussion regarding Kunal as a contender for the Supporting Actor Award.

I hope so. I mean, I love Jim and he deserves everything he gets, but it's past time the others get some recognition.

Yeah I've seen some of that. Along with a lot of articles suggesting Mayim has a shot for Supporting Actress. But those two categories are the toughest categories in the entire awards show this year. For anybody new to have a shot at a nomination, the Emmys would have to drop some Modern Family noms and I'm just not sure they're ready to do that yet :S I've got my fingers crossed for Mayim, Alison Brie (Community), Danny Pudi (Community) or Nick Offerman (Parks and Rec) to slip in there though. Really don't think any of it will happen.

I would love for Kunal or Simon to get a nomination in the Supporting Actor category too. But Danny Pudi and Nick Offerman are the ones getting recognized at other awards like The Critics Association Awards. Unfortunately, that means they have a better shot at getting recognized at the Emmys than Kunal and Simon. (not that Pudi and Offerman don't deserve it. They're just making it tougher for Kunal and Simon to get nominated).
