I don't really see Penny haviing a "power" over Leonard. He is in Love with her, not that she is controlling him in anyway.

Yeah…power is a bad word. I mean that it’s kinda always been her calling the shots-like her that initiated the relationship, and when he took the reins and said that he loved her…well…that hurt his confidence. So it’s not this insane horrible relationship where she was ‘controlling’ him, but since Pilot we’ve known that he’s liked her more than she’s liked him, and I thought that was gone and they were equal…but then the last ep made me wonder again. I’m hoping that they really are basically in the same place and she’s just hindering because of past experience, but I don’t know.
By 'power' I mean it's public (their circle of friends) fact that he said that he loved her and she didn't say it back. Even if she doesn't want that, for lack of a better word 'power' (and clearly she doesn't want it) she still has it. __________________

I really think its going to hard on Leonard, He loves Penny. I do agree that Leonard need power over Penny. I think an National Award for Leonard of some type, or the possibility of a position with the government on some type of project: that requires extended travel out of the country, with an attractive coworker. Would go a long way toward opening Penny's eyes to the fact, that this train is about to depart, Its now or never.

Hey guys we are getting ready for the LP re watcher's club The Tangerine factor and CBS is airing the maternal congruence at 9:30 it is an LP double feature
 I don't like the term power and don't feel either of them has power over the other. They are a couple of people with flaws and need to find what they really want. I just think Penny needs some time to realize what is right in front of her. I don't want to see either of them have power or the upper hand, I want them on equal ground __________________
