Well, even if there've been a lot of breaks in between, we did kind of have one recently with 8.12 and sort of 8.13 since they were together for pretty much the whole thing.

Yeah, "kind of" and "sort of" But I don't consider these as L/P storylines. They were involved, but it wasn't mainly about them.

*cough* Wedding plans *cough* I can't believe they managed to avoid it completely so far.

I guess I haven't expected much progression really in terms of their relationship or the wedding since engagements, if you want a relatively large wedding, take a while, and, depending on what your relationship is like by then, there aren't necessarily things that you'll be overcoming all the time or working through.

That plus them specifically wanting the wedding later because of the pregnancy stuff makes me content with them being part of other storylines together even if the focus isn't their relationship.

I really can't complain about Leonard and Penny at all this season... I mean, in other shows my ships are quite literally dealing with brain damage and death. I'll take some cute background stuff so long as they're both alive and happy!

I like what we got so far, there's been some great stuff, but I expected a lot more.

Anyway, finally watched the latest episode. It wasn't much, but I liked how Leonard was rubbing her back as soon as she started to cry. He does that whenever he tries to make her feel better and it's cute.

I liked how it turns out they were both being tested by Sheldon and Amy! And poor Leonard couldn't do the puzzle box.

Well, Penny is her own kind of smart But Amy said they solved all puzzles, so I don't think he didn't manage to solve it.

And yeah, their short discussion in the comic book store was cute

edit: Okay, I think she was talking about the chimps.

I also liked their confrontation of Shamy and how they were all, "You hurt our feelings!" I like when they're a unified force like that.

When Sheldon asked if he can say something, I liked how they were both like "No, please don't"

Yeah, I got some parenting vibes off of that.

And also from that quote from Steve about them not moving too fast because they care about Sheldon being okay. I also really like how that shows how happy they are right now; they don't need to rush anything, but are content to just be together.

But I hope they won't wait too long to get married. I'm gonna be disappointed if it happens in the series finale and we don't see them as a married couple on screen.
